Edinburgh seit 1995 Weltkulturerbe. Über der Stadt thront Edinburgh Castle, wo jeden Tag punkt 13 Uhr eine Kanone abgefeuert wird, nach der Seeleute früher ihre Uhren stellen konnten. Der Blick vom Calton Hill auf die Altstadt ist einfach atemberaubend.
